Have you ever come to a place where you felt “I can’t pray and when I do pray it is as if it is not getting through. I am at a place where I need God more than ever before but I can’t get through to Him!” Remember there is a wonderful Counsellor who that want you to seek His help.
Grief without hope is the experience of a person who does not believe that Jesus Christ rose from the dead. For that person, death brings a final separation that is ultimate. There may be fond memories to look back on. There may be future chapters of life and of love to be found in this world, but for the person who does not believe that Jesus Christ rose from the dead, there is no hope whatsoever of enjoying the company of the one who has died ever again.
To people who are struggling with guilt and grievance, Scripture says, “Look through your guilt. Look beyond your grievance. Look to the cross. Who hanged there? The One who hanged there is the Son God! Why did He hang there? He hanged there for you!”
