We live in challenging times, times where we really need to activate faith and hope and have an understanding of our future.
The question is: Where do we put our faith in the willow or the palm days of our lives?
The topic of the heart not only touches every part of life, it also connects every part of our being.
It is the centre of it all and everything hinges on it.

It is the hand of God that gives us courage. The hand of God moves us to service. And the hand of God is mediated though His Word.
“ .. for the hand of our God is for good on all who seek Him, and the power of His wrath is against all who forsake Him”
Ezra 8:22
In these days we see a clear trend where focus moves away from Jesus Christ to rather help people do life.
Does a teaching, a book, a sermon, a tele-broadcast, your calling, make more of you or more of Jesus?
“Be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by error of lawlessness men and fall from your secure position”
2 Peter 3:17
These are days in which it is easy to get discouraged, and frustrated, and afraid.
It is easy to drift away from the commitment you once had made to the Lord and to His work. There is a great danger in spiritual decline caused by setbacks.
The world is under a curse that came about through human sin and rebellion against God. But God made a wonderful way of hope and we can be part of His plan.
It is God’s purpose that there will be in every community a place of worship where God’s people will gather, where God’s name will be exalted, and where God’s presence will be known. Do not fall into the trap of thinking that gathering for worship does not matter.
Following Christ in a Christ rejecting world is not easy. Your faith gets attacked and the language of the unbeliever distresses you. How then can we be patient with them?
“The Lord is not slow to fulfill His promise as some count slowness, but is patient towards you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance”
2 Peter 3:9
God’s purpose for us today is that we return to a place where God’s people gather, where the God’s name will be exalted, and where God’s presence will be known.
It asks for a new beginning!
There are people having some kind of religious experience when a church picks from the Bible the things that people want to hear and focus on self. That will make you look better and feel better but you remain the same person you were before.
“They are worst off at the end than they were at the beginning”
