The world view you according to the flesh. To regard someone according to the flesh is to form an impression from the most obvious or surface things about them. How do you see Jesus Christ, and others, and yourself? A change in how you see Jesus will lead to a change in how you see others and a change in how you see yourself. Are you tempted to loose heart because of what you are and what you experience in the flesh? Take heart from who are in Christ for in Him you are a new creation, the old has passed and the new has come.
Friendship is a good gift from God for God did not intend for us to live our lives in isolation. But is it possible to have many acquaintances but no real friends? How do you cherish and protect a good friendship? There is one great friend, a friend who always love at all times, a friend who sticks closer than a brother. do you know who it is? Proverbs 18:24 – “A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.”
The Word of God speaks of two kinds of fear. There is a fear that God commands and a fear that God forbids, a fear that builds you up and a fear that tears you down, a fear to gain and a fear to lose. There is a fear that Christ brings and a fear that Christ reliefs. The fear you want to gain is the fear of the Lord and the fear that you want to lose is the fear of anything and anyone else. What is this fear to gain, the fear of the Lord?
Wisdom is the skill you need to put together a successful life. It is not simple knowledge for it is possible to have great knowledge and not to be wise. Where is the beginning of wisdom? Come with us on this journey to know where it begin and to gain wisdom in doing life here and now.
Every heart belongs and therefore a heart will be given somewhere. If you do not give your heart to God, you will give it to something or someone else. Who will receive the gift of your heart? Give your heart to God and He will fill it. “Create in me a clean heart O God, and renew a right spirit within me” Psalm 51:10
It is from the heart that life flows and therefore the condition of the heart will have a direct impact on how you live here and now. Where your heart is today will always be a predictor of where you will be tomorrow. “My son give me your heart, and let your eyes observe my ways” – Proverbs 23:26.
The blessing promised to peacemakers are that they are sons of God. A peacemaker is a person who has peace and brings peace to others, one that promotes peace and that follows the Prince of peace, the One that brought us peace. “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God” – Matthew 5:9
Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called sons of God – Matthew 5:9. We are called by God to be peacemakers. If you belong to Jesus Christ, it is your calling to reflect the Godhead here on earth, representing the God of peace and the Prince of peace by also bringing peace to a conflicted world. Therefore, know this peace and pursue it with your whole being for that is a sign that you are a son of God.
How can I cultivate purity of heart? We look to Christ to make us holy, but the pursuit of holiness is a calling in which a believer is actively engaged. We need to promote purity of heart towards growth through progress. How do we do that? Matthew 5:8 – Blessed are the pure of heart, for they shall see God”
